Project Manager Jobs

Job Summary: Responsible for implementation, coordination, management and control of all project activites and expenditures for specific, construction approved capital projects as assigned. Has ultimate responsibility for scope, budget and schedule of identified project. Functions as Owner's representative in meetings and on construction sites.

Minimum Requirements: Experience in the construction management, architectural, engineering, or related field.

3 Years experience directly managing healthcare construction projects or related experience.

Computer skills a must and an understanding of the contractural arrangements with design and construction projects. Understanding of the construction process and critical path scheduling. Good math skills and with using spreadsheets and cost projections are critical to the communication to management as it relates to project budgets and budget tracking.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree AND experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.

5 to 10 years experience directly managing healthcare construction projects or related experience.

Working knowledge of AIA contract forms. Understanding of local municipality building codes/processes. Understanding of safety procedures within a hospital (TJC/DOH/OSHA). Working with multiple departments and being able to communicate to many levels of staff. Personable team player.
