Job Description

Morrone Interiors is an award winning Interior Design firm located in the heart of Winter Park. With our passionate attention to detail and our inclusive, innovative design team, we have designed luxurious dream projects for many clients and operate a storefront alongside our interior design firm.


What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Morrone Interiors. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of interior design projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Essential Functions:

- Lead and manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.

- Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

- Coordinate and collaborate with clients, designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution.

- Work closely with our contractors and monitoring subdivision cleanliness, scheduling, approving work being performed by subcontractors and handle any related issues, payment, enforcing quality standards through daily inspection of homes under construction

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

- Track project performance, prepare progress reports, and present updates to clients and stakeholders.

- Manage project risks, anticipate potential obstacles, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction is maintained throughout the project lifecycle

- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.

- Maintains a safe work site by implementing safety requirements and good housekeeping regulations, enforcing safe work habits, observing OSHA requirements and any state-level agencies’ regulations


Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of Three years experience as a Residential Construction or Project Manager

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the interior design industry. (Residential Construction Management experience required, commercial experience preferred)

- Strong knowledge of interior design concepts, construction methods, and materials.

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Must have strong problem solving-skills and work well independently

- Proficient in project management software and tools (Intermediate to Advanced skills with Google Office Suite)

- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction.

- Exceptional Customer Service Skills

- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
