The Project Manager of Client Operations will dive deep into the day to day needs of our Operations team, and work cross functionally within our organization to manage and deliver key deliverables for our clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple on-site based projects at a time for various clients, as well as be a proactive problem solver in resolving issues that may arise during project execution.
This position will report directly to our Chief Operating Officer and will need to be able to commute into our NYC office and client sites multiple times a week.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management: Operations + Delivery
- Establish and maintain processes to aid in streamlined and smooth workflows. Includes managing: project statuses, meetings, documentation, feedback, and expectations.
- Manage a range of cross-functional projects by defining timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Liaise with the head of design and delivery to manage product iteration across all channels of the business
- Proactively identify potential issues or challenges and communicate with team members.
- Track progress and feedback across ops, marketing, customer success, and product teams.
Production: Events + Creative Services
- Create and manage event ROS’s and logistics for designated programs
- Support Director of Events in tracking and maintaining budgets
- Research, vet, and contract external vendors.
- Support administrative needs for vendor bookings and management, decor, etc
- Ensure all external partners adhere to the deadlines and standards required to implement successful rollouts.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.
- Proactive and good at foreseeing problems, with the ability to mitigate issues as soon as they are identified, propose creative solutions, and know when to escalate issues
- 5-7 Years of experience in project management, production and/or creative services space
- Ability to travel between our client sites around New York City as needed
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves, dealing with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work with limited direction and some autonomy
- Extreme attention to detail, organizational skills, and process
- Confident and positive with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Respond effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions, solid conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborative work style and presence across audiences (disciplines and seniority levels)
