What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the Debt Capital Markets business, you will become an integral part of the fabric of CIBC’s New York based debt capital markets team. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring you to effectively process information in the course of executing transactions in a constantly changing market environment. The successful candidate will therefore need to adapt to these conditions with creativity, energy and an entrepreneurial spirit in order to meet the evolving demands of the marketplace.
How You’ll Succeed
Our DCM business provides an opportunity to gain applicable experience in the U.S. Investment Grade debt underwriting and advisory business. Team members will need to be effective communicators capable of building relationships both internally and with clients. As an Analyst/Associate, you will have the responsibility of drafting pitch decks, comparable lists and market overview presentations. Additionally, you will provide detailed analytics, financial modeling, structuring, research and transaction support to senior professionals in your business, helping to win business and execute transactions.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $115,000 - $175,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, location of the position, and class year. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
