Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Operational Excellence & Planning Support Specialist at GCS Cos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the smooth execution of operational processes.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize pre-defined calendaring mechanisms to schedule RoB events, ensuring optimal stakeholder engagement and alignment with strategic plans.
  • Exhibit proficiency in managing the CoS Deck, BM Comms, and Call Agenda, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of essential materials.
  • Take ownership of H2 FY Planning tasks, including the meticulous management of the work back plan, drafting comprehensive communication updates, and tracking executive actions to drive successful outcomes.
  • Act as a communication hub, coordinating and facilitating effective follow-up actions for Operational Excellence RoB meetings and Biz Strategy Leader Community meetings, ensuring seamless information flow and accountability.
  • Provide valuable support for special projects and key initiatives, where your expertise and contributions will be vital to achieving organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful templates, compelling content, and comprehensive agendas for the Operational Excellence RoB (weekly) and Biz Strategy Leader Community (weekly), including the development of a Topic Map that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to the readiness and work back activities for Operational Excellence RoB, playing a key role in managing the calendar, developing readiness materials, and leveraging effective templates to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Uphold business compliance standards during Operational Excellence RoB meetings, including meticulous management of attendees and handling highly confidential content with the utmost discretion and integrity.
  • Monitor and track progress on significant milestones and identify potential blockers for the Biz Strat Leader Community, enabling proactive problem-solving and timely decision-making.


Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and cost management techniques, with a focus on maximizing operational effectiveness and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with acute attention to detail, allowing you to identify potential issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex ideas and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer software, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc., to create engaging and visually appealing materials that effectively convey information.
  • Familiarity with business and management principles involved in strategic planning, encompassing an understanding of resource allocation and production methodologies that drive organizational success.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently and efficiently manage your time, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting critical deadlines.
