Position: Program Manager

Location: Richardson, TX -Hybrid

Duration: 12 + months contract

Work Authorization: USC or GC Only



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, SDLC, and Agile procedures to predict the development teams' needs.
  • Present high-level project readouts to management with well-defined metrics including backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, project metrics, accomplishments, risks, and projected outcomes.
  • SAFe Agile experience a plus.
  • Solid experience working with development teams to assess and size epics and stories
  • Drive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders and protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work.
  • Experience with providing project updates to different levels of management.
  • Track progress daily through burn up, burn down and velocity tracking and help manage product backlog.
  • Prepare and conduct periodic project status reports to update project governance teams and executive management regularly on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance.
  • Work with management to foster and improve portfolio management, architecture, development, and implementation practices.
  • Work with management in performing risk analysis for early detection and remediation of project execution issues.
  • Manage multiple software engineering development projects, facilitating sprint releases in concert with other project managers.
  • Expertise in managing project backlog, creating queries and dashboards using ADO/MS Project.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective.
  • Perform postmortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Proven ability to drive project planning and execution process in a fast-moving and rapidly evolving environment.
