THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU


The Program Manager will provide project and program management on cross-organizational philanthropic and educational initiatives. You will take ownership of all critical pillars of the program portfolio. The candidate will have had experience developing programs from the ground up, iterating for scale, and be comfortable with stepping into uncharted territory. The person will own the collection and reporting of volunteering initiatives. This role requires a high level of customer obsession, earns trust and bias for action. Finally, the candidate must have a proven track record of delivering results.


Key Responsibilities Include


  • Works closely with the program leads to develop and deliver innovative solutions
  • Translating high level community product direction into strategic and tactical plans
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define the product road map and team strategy while supporting metrics to demonstrate success
  • Develop internal mechanisms, including defining processes, tools, procedures, and inspection points
  • Writing, updating, managing, and executing SOPs for relationship management best practices
  • Experience supporting volunteer programs, including working with nonprofits, creating resources/tutorials, and engaging with employees/teams to provide ongoing support.
  • Interfacing with NGOs on their requests, but also educating them on existing programs
  • Work with tech resources to create and manage tools, dashboards, and reports to track program goals and manage mechanisms for the team’s budget reporting.
  • Interacting with internal teams to coordinate product donations, fulfillment, and delivery of product donations
  • Maintain relationship to key community partners and nonprofits
  • Surfacing nonprofits opportunities to the larger product team


A Successful Candidate Will Have


  • Experience learning new systems and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • High Excel proficiency
  • Experience working with diverse communities and applying a diversity, equity, and inclusion frame to program development and implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (PR & FAQ experience a plus)
  • Ability to create and implement processes that scale
  • MBA or other advanced degree nice to have
  • 5 years of Project/Program management experience - 2+ years of experience supporting education or nonprofit initiatives in a similar environment
  • Track record of creating programs from concept to delivery
  • Experience working in or with finance, communications, marketing, public relations, and/or public policy to achieve shared goals
