Job Description
The Byrd Biotech Science Center is seeking an individual to fill a Program Coordinator for WVCSTI. The position is grant-based and is subject to renewal every five years,

Responsibilities for this position include:
  • Coordinator to ensure alignment of activities
  • Establish and maintain strong collaboration between WVCTSI cores and Marshall University;
  • Establish and navigate communications channels for reporting progress quarterly and annually, in collaboration with site leadership and WVCTSI Evaluation and Partnerships Coordinator;
  • Identify and communicate specific needs and/or barriers in clinical and translational research endeavors;
  • Communicate routinely with WVCTSI evaluation and partnerships;
  • Works with Evaluation, Partnerships Coordinator, and Technical Core Directors to develop appropriate site metrics;
  • Connect investigators and members of research teams to services and resources available through WVCTSI;
  • Engages with core staff on projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Communicate routinely with site leadership to identify priorities and action items
  • Coordinates meeting logistics, events, activity planning and site visits;
Location MUSOM - Marshall University School of Medicine Salary Range Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Required Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience
Two years’ experience in business or budget management
