THE ROLE
The Program Coordinator works closely with the Vice President of Sales, Buyer and Account Executive to procure merchandise for activations and promotions for our partners. Programs include NCAA, Big Ten, Cirque de Soleil, Indy 500, NASCAR, NFL, and multiple universities. The Program Coordinator also learns about functions of Buyers and Account Executives in their daily role. Program Coordinators work on several projects at a time and are the conduit for keeping the sales process moving.
Essential Functions
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism in a team structure both internally, with vendors and clients.
  • Must be creative, problem solving and a critical thinker.
  • May prepare sales orders
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Domestic and overseas sourcing/quotes for merchandise, corporate fulfillment of custom product needs
  • Creates SKU numbers for merchandise based on guidelines from team
  • Keeps a highly organized approach on all phases of ordering to project to completion
  • Responsible for Art requests, Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Marketing requests
  • Must be able to learn all the functions of our inventory software (SXe)
  • Helps with sales presentations
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • This position requires that the person be highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or four years related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to understand and follow work processes.
  • Strong computer skills are a must. Use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and comfortable use of Internet is necessary.
