Job Description
Position Description:
Plastipak Production Technicians operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers in a clean and safe work environment. Associates take pride in maintaining our high standards of quality products.

You Will:
  • Operate automated blow-molding equipment in a safe manner
  • Monitor & troubleshoot equipment, making adjustments & repairs to assure optimal production/operating performance
  • Assure customer requirements are always met by performing quality checks for specifications such as bottle weights and dimensions
Requirements:
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts
  • Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly, work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet, standing & walking, and visually examine minute details in parts and products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Able to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
  • DAY shift: 6:45 am - 7:00 pm | NIGHT shift: 6:45 pm – 7:00 am
  • Schedule cycles are 3 days on, 2 day off, 2 days on, 3 days off
  • Proficient operating a computer to enter and retrieve data
  • Mechanical, electrical or other technical/machine operation ability. This can be experience gained through paid or unpaid work & school
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to be a productive team member
