Job Description

Looking for Product Owners with following Business domain knowledge.

  • Process Optimization / Dev Efficiency
  • Project and Infrastructure (P&I)
  • Drilling and Completion (D&C)

Start Date – Immediate

Visa - Citizen or GC

Industry - Oil and Gas

Location – Denver (1stpreference) or Houston

Below is the job description for the Product Owner.

  • Interfacing with business users and key stakeholders to identify process requirements through such activities as workshops, surveys, small group meetings, etc.
  • Work with Business Analyst and document Business Process mapping, user mapping to the process, technical architecture, workflows, and interfaces.
  • Understanding of the applications/products used in D&C and has vision to improve the use of the existing products and business process.
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
  • Manages corporate, customer and third-party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems.
  • Leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget, and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing complex and multiple region projects. Handles BAU issues troubleshooting the land apps
  • Work with business stakeholder to understand the business needs and prioritize them for the squad team to deliver the solution for business needs.
  • Assist with project prioritization, feature and user story definition, story sizing, User Acceptance Testing, and other system development activity
  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
  • Managing and prioritizing the product backlog
  • 15+ years of business or domain knowledge
  • Should have strong business knowledge and work with senior leaders (CxO, VP, Directors) to define business roadmap, business KPIs, value articulation etc
  • An understanding of the project program execution process for D&C projects.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements that drive reduced effort, lower cycle times, increased throughput, and improved overall process performance.
  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
