- Assign work activities and workflows of project teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Review weekly Project Health Reports to ensure all projects are at/under budget and communicating with the internal Ascent team and clients in situations where we may be over budget.
- Understand all contractual obligations for each assigned project.
- Communicate with clients on new project proposals and then generating those proposals which will include but not be limited to: Summary, Scope, Deliverables, Assumptions, Exclusions, Costs, Location, etc.
- Work directly with Business Development to attend new/existing client meetings, write proposals, generate cost estimates for proposals, attend marketing functions, and other revenue generating activities.
- Develop project timelines and define the project's critical path, through interaction with multiple department leaders and project stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets for assigned projects.
- Responds to and resolves complaints and inquiries from clients by meeting with them on the phone and in person and/or coordinates with departments to resolve the complaints.
- 4-Year Degree in Surveying, Engineering, Geomatics, or related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
- 2+ years' experience with proposal writing, budgetary & time estimates in the applicable energy market sector.
- Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- 2+ years' experience of project, client, and staff management in the applicable energy market sector.
- High attention-to-detail and administrative skills.

- Extra hours will be necessary to help meet client deadlines at times.
- Must be available to answer questions from field crews when they are in the field.
- Working remote is acceptable.
- Calls and emails at night and on the weekends will occur.
- You are expected to answer calls and emails in a timely manner.
