Overview Of Position


The Product Manager will be located at the Systems headquarters in Germantown, WI and will report to the Director of Marketing & Connected Experience. This person is expected to develop, communicate, and implement the product plans for new loading dock equipment and related IoT technology. In this role, you will have ownership of the product category and integrated marketing plans. The Product Manager will create and execute product plans aligned to overall business objectives (revenue, gross profit, operating income, quality, delivery, cost and innovation); and ensure organizational alignment of product category priorities and goals.


Description Of Duties And Job Responsibilities


  • Serve as a Product Owner implementing and sustaining the end user connected experience, including uncovering real-time consumer insights, driving user experience requirements, creating business cases and winning value propositions, and leading cross-functional development teams. Coordinate with Engineering on any future product enhancements.
  • Coordinate with marketing on plans for new product rollouts, brand and channel strategies, objectives, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop a clear after-sales and service strategy to ensure customers are cultivated and supported in the long term.
  • Develop and implement product strategies that will drive sales growth of a designated product line.
  • Assist with product presentations and other inside sales tasks as needed to help generate leads and increase product revenue.
  • Own achievement of the product portfolio average net selling price and gross margin, recommending and implementing pricing objectives, strategies, and guardrails to extract maximum value on new and existing products.
  • Perform a competitive analysis on a continuous basis of products that directly compete with the designated product line.
  • Support achievement of full P&L objectives for the business unit, driving profitability, volume growth and market share, as well as execution of product and services.
  • Train and communicate with a dealership network throughout North America on new products, regional trends, selling objectives, competitive advantages, and supporting material.
  • Develop and implement the strategy for the product offering, brand, and channels; partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer experience leaders to develop go-to-market strategies to win in targeted customer segments; lead the creation of end-to-end operational plans to drive profitably, grow and scale the business.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends and new technology. Analyze opportunities for hardware and connected software revenue. Gather and review customer/dealer feedback. Evaluate risks and rewards for new segments of business.
  • Manage annual operating plans and results for a product portfolio, which is aligned to overall Systems business objectives. Track the product portfolio financial performance and ensure organizational alignment of priorities and goals.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Fill out accurate shipping and receiving paperwork and follow all procedures listed in the shipping and receiving hand book
  • Must take pictures of all equipment shipping and receiving from the branch
  • Must work with coordinators to ensure accurate counts of all inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • The incumbent must be willing to work overtime and occasionally be available for weekend calls
  • Report damages to their supervisor and coordinators
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Scienc The essential qualifications for this position include:
  • Cleaning equipment / Wash bay duties
  • Setting and prepping equipment to customer specifications before shipping
  • Ensure all equipment is labeled properly
  • Painting equipment
  • Customer satisfaction is of primary consideration
  • Fuel equipment
  • Must have good communication skills and have good human relations skills
  • Maintaining a clean and organized yard environment
  • Holding a current up to date forklift operation certificate for loading and unloading equipment,
  • Must be willing and able to learn DBS, IRS


As a Yard Attendant you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions.

Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
