This position is a remote position. You will only be required to come onsite a few times a year for annual or quarterly type meetings (office is located in New Jersey). East coast and Central candidates only
The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution for each of the company's primary systems. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the vision, and working closely with the development teams on delivery. They also work to ensure that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals and manage a team of Business Analysts.
Responsibilities for the Product Manager:
- Develop product requirement documents (PRD) with prioritized features and corresponding justifications.
- Work with third party providers to assess partnership and licensing opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with design and development teams to ensure timely and quality release of product/ enhancements Run beta and pilot programs when appropriate.
- Work cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely and quality release of products and enhancements.
- Managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business impact, performance, and post-launch support
- Manage a team of business analysts focused on user story development and prototyping.
- Understand the competitive landscape and the technologies key competitors are using.
- Define the product strategy and roadmap.
ducational Requirements for Product Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or 10 years of related field is required.
Content Knowledge and Skills Project Manager:
- O Familiar with CRM systems (Sales Force, Dynamics CRM); Azure DevOps; Visio preferred) – nothing is a real deal breaker.
- Possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated history of defining and launching excellent products.
- A project management certification (e.g. PMP, Agile) strongly preferred
- Background in software engineering as well as prior experience in product management
- 3+ years of experience developing product strategies and roadmaps
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) are required.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
