The Opportunity

Teladoc is looking for a Product Designer II to join our growing team of designers and user researchers! As a Product Designer, you’ll be a part of a team designing and delivering transformative healthcare experiences across a wide array of platforms including web, mobile/tablet, and devices. Your work will drive real social impact and you’ll enjoy creative breadth and variety, working across web, mobile, and device interfaces.

In the role, you’ll work closely with other designers as well as user researchers, product managers, content strategists, and engineers to drive better outcomes for our members with chronic conditions. Along with your design skills, your core competencies include collaboration, influence, adaptability, and a strong drive to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects by collaborating with Research, Content, Product, Engineering, Clinical and Data Science teams to guide the holistic product experience

• Work closely with Research to define and execute research. Use qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform design decisions through a rapid, iterative process

• Solving complex design problems through authoring and facilitating stakeholder workshops

• Deliver an excellent product experience consisting of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production ready designs

• Present design solutions and the data/research supporting them

• Ensure a coherent and high-quality product experience by working closely with our design systems and engineering teams

• Sharing your designs, strategies, and thinking with team members and leadership to influence and persuade, mentor team members, and to receive and implement feedback

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in user experience / product design.

• An outstanding portfolio that showcases your strong foundation in product and interaction design from ideation to launch, ideally in consumer experiences or healthcare

• Proven track record partnering with stakeholders to deliver exceptional mobile and web experiences with measurable outcomes

• Exceptional design skills with an insistence on quality, design-for-impact, and continuous improvement in your craft

• A strong understanding and commitment to accessibility

• Proven success creating, advocating for, testing, and implementing design in a high velocity agile environment

• Experience with tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Jira

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
