MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Procurement Contract Administrator I ($57,680 - $72,100)
- Must possess a working knowledge of contract maintenance normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, Finance, or related field; and
- Two years’ experience in an inventory procurement and/or supply chain function or contract administration, preferably in the utility or construction industry.
Procurement Contract Administrator II ($66,760 - $83,450)
- Four years’ experience in an inventory procurement and/or supply chain function, two of which must include contract administration, preferably in the utility or construction industry.
- Must possess a working knowledge of contract maintenance normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, Finance, or related field; and
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
- May require occasional travel to company facilities.
- This position is located in Bismarck, ND but may consider a remote work location in the United States where the Company is authorized to do business. If you are located where the Company has an office the candidate would be in office.
- May be required to maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
- Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
- Experience in an Inventory, Procurement and/or Supply Chain related function.
- Familiar with gas/electric operations and components normally used in non-utility, utility, and mid-stream operations.
- Paralegal Certification
- Experienced with JD Edwards ERP application.
- Procurement and/or Supply Chain Certifications (CPM, CPSM, CPIM, etc.)
- Applies knowledge of contracting techniques and methods to draft, review, and negotiate contract terms and pricing with counterparties.
- Serves as contact for field and other cross-departmental personnel to ensure the contractual requirements are met, including legal review, contractor licensing, insurance, bonding, and DOT-required qualifications, minority and small business concerns, and proper approval authorization.
- Performs all job duties with a high degree of accuracy.
- Develops and administers requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposals (RFP) to facilitate competitive bidding process; assists with proposal pricing and narratives, ensures RFP compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Awards and administers agreements and purchase orders by obtaining, evaluating, and awarding the highest total value based on cost, quality, safety, and community.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Builds effective working relationships and communicates with suppliers and contractors, insurance company representatives, and intra-company personnel to effectively manage contracts and other procurement issues.
- Responsible for all phases of contract administration, providing full life cycle support while demonstrating analytical, project management, and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
