1st Shift
Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., with clock out for lunch (other days and hours as needed)

Job Summary

• Clean up after yourself and maintain a clean and sanitary maintenance shop and toolbox
• Purchase and maintain all tools on the tool list and more tools if necessary
• Rebuild equipment and components on a routine basis.
• Operate all process equipment, tools, vehicles and computers necessary to trouble shoot or repair the equipment.
• Perform any other tasks necessary to the efficient production of a quality product as needed or when asked by your supervisor
• Participate in training programs in order to enhance and maintain personal technical skills.
• Preventive maintenance, general repair of all process equipment and related equipment.
• Keep maintenance records
• Failure diagnosis, trouble shooting, and repair of process equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to production.
• Perform equipment setups and changeovers for process equipment.
• Communicate effectively with other technicians and personnel in order to efficiently work as a team to repair and maintain all process equipment
• Modify process equipment when necessary to improve performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Good perception, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Possess a good overall work and safety record.
• Proven experience and knowledge of ovens, guillotines, enrobers and mixers controls and repair.
• PC literate.
• Willing and able to work in a team environment.
• Tools required.
• Formal technical training and work experience.
• Safety shoes first day on the job.
• Must be effective communicator verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronics controls.
• Three (3) years of experience maintaining automated industrial equipment or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year experience with metal fabrication Experience in installing automated equipment.
• Machinist with two (2) years verifiable machine shop experience
• Four (4) years of experience in general industrial maintenance.
