Pallet Repair Forklift Operator - 1St Shift

Seneca Foods Corporation of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, currently has an opening for a full-time Pallet Repair Forklift Operator for the day shift. This position will mainly be responsible for the sorting and repair of pallets.

Responsibilities:

• Sort pallets into groups (repairable vs non-repairable).
• Add boards or stringers to repairable pallets using tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Employee relations.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Run associated pallet repair equipment.
• Arrange all pallets in neat, orderly stacks.
• Retrieve and stack away pallets.
• Assist the shipping department with the transfer of product, loading/unloading trucks and railcars, and inventory control.
• Assist with label line work, rework, and general labor projects.
• Load and unload pallet trucks.

Qualifications:

• Willingness and ability to function in a team environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous warehouse and/or forklift experience preferred.
