Del Carmen Capital Partners (Del Carmen) is a private investment firm focused on $3-25mm enterprise value investment opportunities in the United States. Del Carmen and its investing partners seek value driven investment opportunities with clear scalable paths driven by organic growth and/or programmatic M&A. Del Carmen is run by a UCLA Anderson MBA with operational and investing experience across multiple industries. Our investors are private equity funds, family offices and high net worth individuals.

If you join Del Carmen, you will have an opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will work closely with our General Partner, and you will quickly gain valuable experience. You will have an opportunity to become an expert on the fund’s investment strategy and be exposed to live deals and transactions. We employ techniques used in traditional private equity as well as startups. The training and experience we offer during the internship includes managing proprietary deal origination, growth marketing, valuations (comparable companies, comparable transactions, LBO, DCF) and lean methodologies. The skillsets that our interns develop are fundamental preparation for private equity,VC investing, business development & sales, and investment banking roles.

Analyst Internship

This position represents a unique opportunity for highly motivated individuals to assume a wide set of responsibilities and make a significant impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will play an integral role in performing industry research, sourcing deals and our investment opportunities. You will also gain valuable experience evaluating potential investments, developingfinancial models, creating valuations (comparable companies, comparable transactions, DCF, LBO), and structuring transactions. We are looking for motivated, bright and self-directed people with an interest in private equity, entrepreneurship, and working in a startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Track industry statistics and maintain internal private company databases
• Identify investment opportunities, including industry, company, and stakeholder research
• Screen investment opportunities and evaluate fit with the fund’s investment criteria
• Assist in due diligence for potential investments, including financial modeling, valuation, and deal memos
• Contribute to marketing research, content, and deal origination
