About the Role:

The Regional Pricing Manager is a key position within the Heineken USA Finance Team; ensuring effective business partnering, and business decision making, through good understanding of the commercial processes. Support the Regional Finance and Regional Sales Teams in setting, analyzing and executing the pricing strategy


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing & Revenue Management
  • Performance Reporting, Insights & Analytics
  • Plan, monitor and track the company’s promotional spend budget, providing insights and calling out areas of improvement or risk
  • Support post promotional and post commercial ROI Analysis for region sales, region marketing & region national sales commercial spend. Develop recommendations and counter financial measures for region sales and region national sales to assess and execute
  • Manage transition to automated discount system for remaining distributors
  • Partner Regional Leadership, Zone, and HQ teams to ensure pricing is accurate and timely
  • Provide detailed insights on net revenue contribution
  • Oversee Price Promotion Calendars, including resolution of any transactional disputes with distributors
  • Participate in monthly region/zone P&L reviews, analyze and provide insights on monthly trends, and communicate to region sales leadership
  • Price Strategy Execution, including customer/stakeholder communications related to price promotion management systems, changes and policies
  • Develop Analysis and Review with sales leaders ahead of General Price Increase by State/Distributor. Perform post price increase duties (Calendar Updates and Pricebook Review)
  • Special Projects & Trainings
  • Ensure compliance with Revenue Management guidelines and practices, local trade rules
  • Perform Bi-Monthly Cognos and Pricing Tools Refresher for new and existing sales team members
  • Develop/Review/Submit/Communicate changes to Pricing for Weekly Promotional Activity, New Item pricing set-up and FOB Changes
  • Provide insights and escalation of local market, price related issues


Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Functional expertise: 3-5+ years of related financial, industry experience with demonstration of analytic and information driven experiences
  • English speaking skills
  • Challenger mindset approach
  • Finance experience (business math/economics) preferred
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage multiple data sources
  • Other languages a plus
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point skills required
  • Experience in CPG pricing management preferred
  • Experience with information systems and related tools for staging and deploying information
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator at all levels
  • Proven commercial/business Affinity
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration required: Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Finance preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $80,000-90,000 + Annual Performance Bonus
  • $200 Monthly Beverage Allowance
