• Two years of food service experience including cooking and preparation of food and/or working in an occupationally related field, such as work in banquet, catering, etc.

Job description:

The Nutrition Services Department provides quality meals and medical nutrition therapy to patients in a mental health facility. This position performs work in food handling, serving, production, cleaning, safety, and sanitation. This includes assisting in preparing, seasoning, and cooking regular and modified meals using standardized recipes and a variety of commercial food service equipment. This position also cleans and sanitizes dishes, pots/pans, equipment, production areas, dining room, and other department areas.
