Intelligent Waves is growing rapidly and has an outstanding new opportunity for a Unity Developer on our team. This contract was awarded in 2022 and has recently entered its second award year.

Work with us as we help our clients automate tasks so we can provide innovative solutions toward cloud migration.


Location: This position is based in Reston, VA

Travel: None

Remote Schedule: Will work as part of an overall team to provide needed coverage and support with remote work capability according to mission schedules.

Security Clearance: Must be a United States Citizen and hold a current TS-SCI or TS with SCI eligibility security clearance.

Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.

Responsibilities:
Intelligent Waves is growing rapidly and has an opening for an experienced front-end web developer who will use their passion for the mission to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify, and implement system improvements and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to solve problems in national security by collaborating with a development team to rapidly prototype innovative, dynamic, and complex analytic applications focused on mission. In a robust DevSecOps environment, you will coordinate with UI and UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using Vue and other modern web technologies. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build digital solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges.

Salary is dependent on education level + years of relevant experience and will be determined by the DOD customer.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Experience with the preparation of 3D models for integration into a rendered environment
  • 2+ years of experience with developing 3D applications or experiences, including with Unity, Unreal, Cesium, or JavaScript
  • Experience with technical design, code reviews, and style guide development
  • Experience with using Agile software development methods in a DevOps environment
  • Must hold a current TS-SCI or TS level with SCI eligibility security clearance with DOD
Desired:
  • DoD 8570-Compliant Certification, including Security+
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitHub and GitLab
  • Experience in working with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT and the data and tools associated with these disciplines
  • Experience with 3D artist software, including 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Substance, Sketchup, Blender, and Houdini
  • Knowledge of Web development specifics, including JSON REST, CORS, JSONP, Web architecture, and HTTP specification
  • Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, including Vue and Angular
  • Experience with Python, Ruby Script, and Perl
