Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Power Transformer Disassembly Technician to join our team in Pell City. This is a quick contract-to-hire position on 2nd shift, with a pay increase when hired full-time!

As a Power Transformer Disassembly Technician, you will be responsible for:


  • Sorting and organizing components according to specific guidelines and procedures to prepare them for further processing or disposal
  • Participating in paid training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge of power transformers and related equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area by following established procedures and protocols
  • Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met and any issues are addressed.
  • Loading components weighing up to 50 pounds onto designated areas while adhering to safe lifting practices
  • Disassembling power transformers safely and efficiently using power tools and hand tools.
