2nd Shift Sanitation Worker A
E ssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for ensuring proper sanitation of machinery, floors, walls, etc. by performing the following duties:

• Work safely under all conditions and procedures.
• Report any process or equipment problems to supervisor.
• Ensure that machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings are properly cleaned and sanitized according to schedule.
• Perform all duties accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct final inspection of the department to ensure that it is clean and ready for production according to company S.S.O.P.'s.
• Follow policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Will be required to disassemble and reassemble machinery before and after cleaning and sanitation.
• Conduct necessary preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to schedule.
• May operate forklifts, and hand lifts to move product from one area to another.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Must be able to speak English fluently.
