General Duties and Responsibilities

• Wears appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection.

• Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Uses proper lifting and ergo techniques.

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Perform other duties as assigned
• Notify management of any safety hazards or maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrails
• Ensure all lights are on/off and appropriate doors are locked when leaving an area.
• Performs general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning and vacuuming floors to include office areas, break areas, conference areas, entry/exits ways, hallways, smoking areas and all restrooms
• Areas, break areas, conference areas, entry/exits ways, hallways, smoking areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuum cleaners, in a safe and effective manner
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
• Ability to obtain license for and operate power industrial trucks and street sweepers as needed.
• Remove trash and recycling from the facility, and transport to designated areas for disposal
• Maintain and stock restroom facilities with necessary supplies
