Reports to: Chief Engineer/Director of Aquatics

Job Summary:*
Our vision is to be recognized as a premier private country club. The role of this position is to provide clean and safe water for guests at designated hours. He / she should service and maintain swimming pools. This position is Tuesday – Sunday in the early mornings for 4 – 5 hours (24 – 30 hours per week).

Job Tasks - *not limited to the follow responsibilities:

• Store pool equipment and tools in a proper manner.
• Check pools for dirt and debris daily and use specialized equipment to extract both.
• Arrange and clean pool furniture.
• Check Pool Chemistry when needed.
• Perform maintenance work on areas around the pool (such as cleaning the deck and slide).
• Scrub pool floors and walls. Perform vacuuming activities in hard-to-reach places inside the pool.
• Polish the steel on edge of pool.
• Empty pool gutters of leaves.
• Clean skimmer basket when needed.
• Report any pool maintenance supplies as need and assure safe storage of cleaning chemicals and tools.

Special Requirements/Conditions:*

• Position requires Bathing suit, shorts, sandals, and uniform shirt provided RCC.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:*

• Able to swim 500 yards.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours.
• Able to tread water for at least 2 minutes.
