Policy Researcher 2023 Jobs

The Boehm Institution is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a volunteer Policy Contributor. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing about policy in the form of blogs, policy briefs, as well as conducting research in their focus area.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze policy issues in the candidate's area of expertise
• Attend and participate in team meetings and other events
• Collaborate with the team and other contributors to ensure the quality and consistency of our content
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and engage with other experts in the field
• Any other duties as assigned.
• Write clear and compelling blog posts and policy briefs that provide insights on policy issues and potential solutions

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
• Experience in using research tools and databases
• Strong analytical, writing and research skills
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public policy, economics, international relations or political science is preffered
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Passion for making a positive impact in society
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• At least 1 year of experience in writing and research on policy issues
