Plant Manager Jobs

Job Responsibility:

·Direct functions and performances via the manufacturing team members. Recruit, select and develop the manufacturing team. Oversee manufacturing progress, recognize the potential of new employees.

·Develop and maintain organization structure, culture, values, and reputation with the employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, and with any official/regulatory bodies.

·Make financial decisions on expenditure. Provide infrastructure for all processes, contingency plans, and all necessary resources needed to maintain building/s, workspace, utilities, equipment (both hardware/software), and supporting services.

·Ensure that set company policies, processes, and goals are appropriately followed.

·Machine & Building maintenance in critical situations that a quick recovery is possible.

·Oversee operations to ensure safety.

·Develop plans that help operations run smoothly.

·Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.

·Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement.

·Oversee work schedules to ensure coverage.

·Perform routine safety checks on equipment.

·Analyzing and correcting mold malfunctions.

·Disassembling mold tooling for cleaning and evaluation for Repair.

Skills:

·Independent; self-motivated/confident, team-orientated, can follow instructions, excellent attendance.

·Supervisory Skills: leadership ability, decision maker, attention to details, meets deadlines (when fully staffed).

·Management/Manufacturing/Supervisory Experience

·Plastics Experience; Injection Blow Mold and Injection Stretch Blow experience.

·A minimum of 5 years' experience in mold making or mold maintenance.

·In-depth knowledge of computer numerically controlled machine tools, precision measurement devices, and other shop equipment.

·Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·Good active learning, time management, communication, and organizational skills.

·Attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

·The ability to work without supervision.

·The ability to determine the material resources required.

·Able to make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement.

·Communication Skills: customer service skills, present information (to large groups when required).

·Understanding of tools required to produce product.

·PC Skills; Word, Excel, Email, Internet, networking awareness

·Reading blueprints, following instructions, and using CAD programs to plan the molds that must be constructed.

• Working knowledge of ISO 9011 standard.

Abilities:

·Speak, read, and write in the English language.

·Stand, Walk, and reach with arms, hands, and fingers.

·Lift, carry, push, pull items up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

·Basic Math: count, add, and subtract, multiply & divide, trigonometry.

·Operate Company Vehicle, Valid Drivers’ License/Good Driving Record.

·Operate Office Machines & Equipment.

·Must have exceptional attention to detail.

·Knowledge of latest safety laws and regulations.

·Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations.

·Excellent problem-solving abilities.
