• Develop and implement an effective procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct price negotiations and seek cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.
• Maintain effective communication with vendors, building and nurturing strong relationships.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain pricing approvals and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and pivot accordingly as priorities shift.
• Attend tradeshows and industry events to stay updated on market trends and explore new vendor opportunities.
• Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock availability, identify inventory shortfalls to provide alternatives, and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
• Coordinate logistics for pick-ups, deliveries, and purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials and supplies.
• Monitor and control procurement costs to maximize savings and achieve budgetary targets.

Experience

• Excellent negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors, while maintaining positive relationships and achieving cost savings.
• Strong knowledge of advanced analysis in Excel. Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
• Proven experience in purchasing and logistics coordination, ideally in a high-volume and seasonal business environment.
• Mastery of purchasing techniques: negotiating skills, budgeting, market analysis, risk management, price management
