Job Description

Covid vaccine required

This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in internal quality improvement programs
  • Performs clerical and technical functions for the pharmacist.
  • Performs cashier function including end of the day processing and bank deposits.
  • Completes the Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program within 6 months of hire date.
  • Participate in patient drug assistance program processing
  • Fills medication orders for pharmacist verification.
  • Interacts with patients and staff in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Types labels or makes entries into the computer system, including prescription information.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years customer service
  • High School diploma or equivalent


CERTIFICATE AND LICENSES

  • Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration within 6 months of hire


EXPECTATIONS

  • Continued employment at Aza Health for 6 months after successful completion of the Register Pharmacy Technician Training program or repayment of associated fees.
