Job Description
Job Summary: Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.


Location: Elmhurst


Hours: Part time, days/evenings. Weekend rotation required.


Required


  • Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians examination pending certification, OR Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois
  • Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois, AND
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician within 270 days of hire, OR
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent


Preferred


  • Minimum one year of pharmacy experience as a pharmacy technician
