Prn Ultrasound Tech Jobs

POSITION SUMMARY:

This PRN position is responsible for performing accurate Echo Cardiograms, experience with carotid and vascular ultrasounds is a plus.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Consistently seek educational tools in order to stay current with professional registry and ICAEL standards.
• Perform routine cardiac and or vascular ultrasounds while complying with Cardiac Solutions protocol and ICAEL standards for ultrasound testing.
• Assess patient?s images to evaluate for potentially life threatening conditions in which a physician must be notified.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team and facility meetings.
• Participates in the orientation, training and teaching of other staff.
• Assist physicians by providing the measurements and pictures acquired during testing in an accurate, precise manner.
• Shares knowledge, experience and education relevant to sonography with peers.
• Travels to all offices as needed.
• Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of ultrasound techniques and principles to provide the best patient care.
