Job Description
General Summary : Assists all healthcare professionals and patients, under the supervision of a pharmacist in the process of medication reconciliation during the admission process, discharge process and as required/requested, when there is a change in the patient’s level of care. Works only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.


Location: Edward campus


Hours: Full time, days.


Required


  • Successfully passed the PTCB or the ExCPT examination pending certification, OR
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire, OR
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois, AND
  • Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois


Preferred:
  • Minimum one year of pharmacy experience as a pharmacy technician
