- Participate in People Team related projects (continuous improvement, crafting policy documentation).
- Help managers administer verbal & written warnings for employees.
- Approve and facilitate HR transactions as required by automated workflows. Processes HR transactions for employees and managers when the primary self-service channel cannot be used.
- Help new hires prepare to onboard from the moment they receive their verbal offer all the way to their first day. This includes administration of the offer letter, background check and I9.
- To succeed in this role, you will need drive, energy, and positive mindset to empower others.
- Maintain accurate employee-related records and data in HR systems (new hire onboarding, employee separations, leaves of absence, benefits, etc.).
- Utilize knowledge base system to access standard policy and procedure information while working closely with colleagues, Centers of Expertise, and vendors to resolve more complex issues. Use judgment to call out and route issues to the appropriate specialist where appropriate.
- Work with active, terminating and terminated employees that are leaving the company without fulfilling their hire on bonus obligations. This includes reaching out to employees about the repayment, creating repayment plans, coordinating with payroll for deductions and following up to make sure plans are being executed.
- The person we are looking for has extensive experience in online or related areas, with at least 2-4 years of full-time employment.
- Respond and resolve HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, Centers of Expertise (Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Learning & Organization Development, Payroll) and vendors via phone, chat, and email.
- Maintain casework within the agreed service level agreements and utilizes case management system to record case notes.
