Peer Support Specialist (Community Engagement Specialist)

Salary - $32,000 - $36,000:

Educational Requirements: :GED or High School Diploma. Needs to be eligible for Mental Health or Substance Use PSS Certification or have already pertained.

Duties/Responsibilities: :This position will work with individuals, referred by the Neighborhood/CARES or any other agency who have a MH and/or SUD symptoms, to engage with an intake specialist to render a diagnosis and make recommendations in treatment and level of care. The Peer Support Specialist will continue to follow the consumer until such time as the consumer has made the warm hand-off to an Outpatient Office. The PSS will also act as an overall liaison from the Neighborhood and other like community agencies to educate and be a conduit for all of Pathway's services.

Experience Required: :History of working for Mental Health / SUD consumers who are homeless.
