We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support the Shared Financial Services Payroll operations for Hearst. The position is a highly valued individual on the Payroll team and plays an integral role in the day-to-day payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their responsibilities. Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
• Monitor Payroll inbox support within ADP system, able to respond to ADP tickets and report issues.
• Payroll Processing under very tight deadlines.
• Work with ADP and our units processing high-volume regular and off-cycle payroll runs.
• Process/monitor off-cycle payments.
• Proficient in report creation in ADP.

Requirements:

• Experience with ADP Global View Platform preferred.
• Self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude.
• Detailed oriented and organized.
• 2 – 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• Ability to work under time pressure, prioritize workload, work with high-volume payroll, and meet strict deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of multi-state tax.
• SAP experience desired.

Duration:

• Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

Salary:

• $29.80/Hour

Location:

• Hybrid (current): Split schedule between Remote and On-Site work
• Candidates must be within 30 miles of the Hearst location in Ballentyne, NC (a neighborhood of Charlotte, NC)
