Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Work Authorization: NO C2C/ Sponsorship: US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Pay: $60- $65/hr

Location: Atlanta, GA (On-Site)


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic payroll team! As a Payroll Administrator, you'll have the chance to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and contributing to various payroll-related functions. Leveraging your expertise with PeopleSoft, you'll manage weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, review and analyze payroll data, prepare and process off-cycle checks/wires, and more.


Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Payroll team, process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls using PeopleSoft.

2. Review and analyze payroll data for accuracy and compliance.

3. Prepare and process off-cycle checks/wires as required.

4. Process and audit garnishments to ensure timely setup by vendors.

5. Respond to internal customers’ email requests within SLA guidelines.

6. Independently research and investigate payroll issues, demonstrating a high level of analytical ability and a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations.

7. Stay updated with current and pending regulations affecting payroll and advise of necessary changes.

8. Support system implementation, process improvements, and act as a key member of the team on any system upgrades, configuration changes, and conversions, including integrations when necessary.

9. Conduct regular payroll internal audits to ensure data integrity.

10. Post Payroll Balancing & Auditing.

11. Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee pay information.



Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 to 5 years' payroll processing experience. Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud is preferred.

2. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

3. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the company.

4. Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll and other employee personal information.

5. Able to operate independently, with discretion, and work effectively under tight deadlines.

6. Ability to successfully balance competing priorities and effectively manage workload.

7. Ability to take direction and function as a team player.

8. Results-oriented, accountable, and highly organized.
