Job Description
The Patient Services Coordinator performs clinical support duties for providers of health care. Duties includes assistance in performing assigned treatments and procedures closely supervised and working directly under the direction of physician and CRNP/PA-C; scheduling surgical cases; answering phones; greeting patients and setting them up for medical evaluation. Requires: High School Diploma or GED. Must have CPR certification. Highly preferred licensed nursing/medical assistant certification or equivalent work experience. Highly preferred previous medical office experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Functional computer skills including Microsoft office. Basic knowledge in operation of basic medical and emergency equipment. Excellent customer service skills required. Pleasant, caring, professional personality. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality related to employee and patient information.
