Position Summary

As a PSR at Carle Health, you'll be the friendly face and voice of our organization, providing exceptional service and support to our patients. From warmly greeting patients at the front desk to efficiently managing appointment scheduling and insurance verification, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and seamless patient experience.


But that's not all – our PSRs go above and beyond to create a welcoming environment by actively listening to patients, addressing their concerns, and providing compassionate assistance. Whether it's guiding patients through registration processes or directing them to the right departments, your expertise and caring nature will make a real difference in their healthcare journey.


Qualifications


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS


Associates Related field or Three (3) years of experience in an office/customer service environment is an acceptable substitution for Associates degree.


Certification & Licensure Requirements


Successful completion of medical terminology course within one (1) year of start date in position.


Experience Requirements


Previous public contact position, basic computer skills, and experience using fax machine, copier and other general office equipment.


Skills And Knowledge


Strong communication skills; observes high standard of confidentiality; multiple tasks concurrently; memory for details; ability to prioritize and complete tasks under stressful conditions with interruptions; ability to accept and implement change and function in instances where decisions are not always apparent.
