Patient Dietary Services Supervisor

Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the performance of Patient Nutrition Representatives and Patient Nutrition Assistants to include the fostering of guest relations and adherence to policies and procedures. Ensures timely, quality food service to customers. Knowledge of computerized diet office software systems.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Five years' experience in food service is required, of which one year of experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• Must show initiative and judgement in dealing with a variety of types of employees and visitors.
• Must be knowledgeable of sanitary and safety regulations.
• Ability to read, speak, write, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer use.
• Must be familiar with management techniques.
