Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is currently seeking a NICU Support Specialist for our 18 single family room Special Care Nursery! The NICU Support Specialist performs a variety of clerical, coordinating and communication activities to support unit operations. Is responsible for the cleaning of NICU Specialized equipment. Provides direct patient care to NICU patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This is a .75FTE (including every other weekend), 12 hour shifts.

8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Qualifications:

• EHR Experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Exceptional customer services skills and strong desire to work in a fast paced environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification required.
• One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact is preferred.
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training required.
• Nursing Assistant-Certified (NA-C) required.
• Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) also required post hire (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure).
• Familiarity with computers required
• Effective organization and interpersonal communication skills
