Summary:

The Registered Nurse - ACU independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
• Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse license
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• 1-year acute care experience in an acute care setting
