Description

Patient Advocate- Bleeding Disorder (Infusion)

Location: Hybrid, 0-3 times/month in office

Responsible for creating, planning, directing, and implementing internal and external customer service activities which lead to infusion patient account retention and future sales.

How you will make an impact:

  • Introduces and informs current and new infusion patients and referral sources about the services and programs offered.
  • Travels on an occasional basis.
  • Documents patient communications for charting and customer service and partners with the clinical team.
  • Communicates offerings and benefits to current and potential patients as well as physician customers in order to build patient business as well as retain current patients.
  • Develops consumer/patient educational materials and resources for distribution.
  • Makes a difference in patients’ lives by through advocacy.
  • Acts as the single point of contact for patients and referral sources.
  • When scripts do not flow in a timely manner, creates a sense of urgency from internal co-workers and intervenes immediately when infusion prescriptions are not fulfilled in timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years in the infusion community or industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Established relationships within the Bleeding Disorder community preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $55,760 to $100,368

Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
