The Pastry Cook will be responsible for setting up the station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications.

Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Qualifications

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Licenses and Special Requirements

• Food safety certification preferred.
• Certification from American Culinary Federation or other hospitality association preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays as business dictates
• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.
