The Manager of Guest Coordination is a key member of the patient access leadership team taking ownership of the overall day to day guest experience. In addition to personally providing superior customer service, they will take responsibility for hiring, training, developing and mentoring a large team of multi-shift, multi-entrance Guest Coordinators. The Manager ensures the team has a deep understanding of Baptist Health standards, policies, procedures, and essential functions related to the visitor experience and visitor badging process. The Manager collaborates with safety and security leadership to address any concerns or issues relating to the guest badging policy. The Manager collaborates with patient access to ensure coverage and optimal utilization of staff. The manager will be assigned QA reports and provide training on quick registrations and specimen registrations. The manager may provide back up for the other PAS departments. The Manager will be assigned special projects for Patient Access and Guest Coordination.
- Experience in Patient Access and/or Guest Coordination.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to exercise independent thought and judgement.
- Advanced degree may be substitute for some experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hospital office management.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, both or oral and written.
- College degree preferred.
- Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple sites.
- Planning and organization skills.
