Parts Specialist - Full Time S.J. Louis Construction, a leading national construction contractor specializing in underground utility, tunneling and excavation, has an excellent opportunity for a Parts Specialist in our state of the art shop located in our Rockville, MN location. Position responsibilities include: Orders, monitors, and controls parts acquisitions for large field construction equipment as well as other small engine and support equipment Orders, monitors and controls inventory levels for field & shop supplies along with personal protective equipment Creates and maintains all required documentation affiliated to parts and supplies inventory Researches costs of parts and supplies to minimize company expense Maintains filing system in the shop Matches purchase orders with outstanding invoices Performs other duties as assigned Do you meet the requirements we are seeking? Previous training in administrative support and parts management Previous experience in a shop or construction environment Previous purchasing or ordering experience preferred Prior experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ability to learn additional programs Ability to lift 50 pounds Must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, employees, and management Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required Why work for S.J.
