Job Description
The College of Mount Saint Vincent is an academically excellent, authentically inclusive, Catholic and ecumenical liberal arts college with approximately 1,500 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students, located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York City. Our beautiful 70-acre campus of rolling lawns and wooded hills overlooking the Hudson River is just 12 miles from midtown Manhattan.

The College of Mount Saint Vincent is seeking a part-time (adjunct) Professor of English for the Fall 2023 semester. All applications should be received no later than August 1, 2023. Classes begin on Monday, August 28, 2023

Requirements
  • Must have an MA or PH. D. in English or Composition/Rhetoric by the start of the appointment.
  • Must have day time availability, a strong student-centered focus and commitment
  • Must have experience teaching courses in writing about Literature
Benefits
Compensation: $1000 per credit, per course.
