Part-Time Hospitalist (1099)

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional care to patients admitted to the hospital, managing their medical conditions, and overseeing their treatment plans.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Conduct thorough evaluations, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and administer appropriate treatments.

Effectively communicate with patients and their families, addressing their concerns and providing education regarding their conditions and treatment options.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.

Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.

Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York.

Excellent clinical skills, with a strong ability to diagnose and manage complex medical cases.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
