As a Code Paralegal Contractor, you will work closely with attorneys, the Code project manager and Code Director to implement services for local government customers. The Code Paralegal Contractor will review and compare local laws to state statutes to provide a strikethrough and underlined document with recommended changes to the local laws for attorneys to analyze. The Code Paralegal contractor will need to have a strong attention to detail and accuracy. This role is a temporary position with the Code Department.We are looking to hire on a contract basis an Administrative Assistant in Manhattan, KS. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting with a companywide project that supports our current customers. This role will report to the Manager of Account Management, Growth. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, communicates clearly, and is able to problem solve.

Contractor Responsabilities:

• Review state statutes to identify changes to legislation; provide strikethrough and underline documents to update local laws with recommended updates.
• Assist attorney(s) by providing document preparation and review of local laws and state statutes.

Contractor Requirements:

Experience

• 3+ years of legal experience and local government knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytic skills with attention to detail.
