Job Description
Overview:
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, has an opening for a Panel Operator to join our Carthage, MO Team. Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Operates the central control panel for the incinerator facility involving the kiln, car bottom, secondary combustor, spray dryer, bag house, I.D. fans, stack monitoring equipment (CEMS) and high integrity utilities (gas, air, water and electric)/Monitors

Basic Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED; or at least six months, preferably one year each, Material Handler, Operator, Lead Operator and Supply Operator and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
